Default Black River Stages

http://blackriverstages.com/2010/

OK all, just looking to the future here. Once again I'm stage captain for Goose Pond and Texas rd at Black River Stages. It is near Watertown NY and I'm looking for volunteers. Starting early so we don't have a shortage like the one that plagued Tennessee this year.

Here is the link for sign up and under the section of who you want to work with just put in Logan and you will be in my crew and be working the best two stages of the rally (well Jayville is damn good too). http://www.nasarallysport.com/nrsdb/

This is what you get for your efforts
-Event Tshirt
-Unlimited food and beer at the event awards ceremony and a chance to mingle with the crews and all.
-This year we are doing a rallycross event for the anyone but specifically for the volunteers of the event. the cost will be very low if not free, just getting that aspect nailed down now. It will be the Sunday following the event, rain, snow or shine.
-Food will also be provided in the form of lunch on the days you work.
-As far as accomadations I'm working on that as well, looking for a place to camp for the event for my crew for cheap. If not I can call in favors and sleep lots of people at various relatives and friends in Lowville which is about 20 miles from the head quarters.

The event runs both cars and bikes and the roads are amazing, it is also at the time of the year when the trees are turning so the scenery is very nice and because of the time the bugs are significantly reduced.

Anyone interested I would really appreciate it and I think you will have a good time. For those looking to get into rally its a good chance to see what goes into an event and to make connections that will help you out in the future as well as just seeing some good racing. When you are not working you can spectate and, being marshals you are not limited to the spectator areas like everyone else.

Thumbs up

Yup! It should be loads of fun this year!

I'm also thinking about getting a couple spare ham radios... if someone wanted to try out doing radio stuff, you wouldn't need to buy any equipment.

Cheers,
Anders
