I know there are tow points under the rear of this thing but what about the front? I suspect someone will need to pluck me out of the snow at some point.

Theres a small cover on your front bumper in the black ABS plastic. I believe on the regular Lancers you can thread a tow hook in at that point however, yours might be aluminum if so you would have to do some modifications to use that point. Otherwise you could use the bottom front of your submount support (Weld it on).

My X has that small cover in the front bumper. I pulled it...there's nothing in there. WTF?
Having access to some 7000-lb kevlar cord, I tied a small loop around each of the front a-arms, and covered them with gorilla tape. They just hang there, but they're small and I don't expect them to cause any problems. Will use for trailer tie-down and emergency pull-outs. Actually I usually tie down at the wheels, but still needed something for emergency tow. |

Yeah. I wasn't sure if the RA was aluminum seems it is?
WAM none of the Evo's will have a thread there. But you can still use that location; you would have to fabricate the crash beam. Its aluminum so you would want to support the beam aswell. Thats what we did with the HAR car.
